I Feel Safe

Christians are allowed to worship God.
I feel grateful.
America does not allow slaves.
We have good ideas.
America is free.
I feel happy and lucky.
they say all men are created equal.

Dreamland

One window is all I need
for seeing beautiful birds.
One window is all I need for taking me away into dreamland. Dreamland is a place for carefree people.
It is a place where you can do whatever you want.
Dreamland is where you can…express yourself.
Dreamland is where everyone is at peace

Fog

Fog comes in like a creeping fox
early in the morning.
It covers the pond
quietly
in the forest
then hides from the sun.

What Will My Cat Look Like?

Will my cat be mean, nice or fat?
Will my cat be big or small?
Will it look like a butterfly or more like a rat?
Will it like to play with a string or a ball?
Will it like tofu or will it like grapes?

I don’t know what my cat will be like, but you could guess.

Caterpillars

Caterpillars are so many colors.
They’re furry too.
Sometimes.

They eat leaves
And when they are ready
And big enough
They hang upside down.

When they’re done
Uh oh
They’re not caterpillars anymore.

They’re butterflies.

Grass So Many Colors

Grass so green,
Why not brown?

Grass so green,
Why not blue?

Grass so green,
I like yellow better.

How about you?

Rainy Day

Today it’s raining
But I still have to do my chores.

Nothing on my feet
But the cats are waiting to eat outdoors.

Puddles chill my toes
But the umbrella keeps my head dry.

Now I’m done
And I go inside.

Family Day

Yay! It’s Family Day.
We all go out to play.

Have a picnic in the sun
I hope the ants don’t come.

They would ruin all the food.
Ants are very rude.

We go to play kick ball.
My Aunt plays too.

Oh no family day is done.
But I did have fun.

My Dog

My dog isn’t so big.
She’s rather quite small.

She likes to play in mud,
And then she needs to go in the tub.

I like her a lot,
But she smells gross.

The one thing I like most is
That she loves me.

My Thoughts

I am curious and a big dreamer
I wonder if the world can speak
I hear horses galloping in the forest
I see fairies dancing in the mist
I want for Earth to be forever safe
I am adventurous and dreamy
I pretend there are magical creatures
I feel the world has many secrets still hidden
I touch the clouds in the sky
I worry someday the universe will fade
I cry when i think of people dieing
I am curious and a big dreamer
I understand that the Earth will someday die
I say that hope can fix anything
I dream dragons and pixies are real
I try to keep the world healthy
I hope someday happiness will be everywhere
I am curious and a big dreamer

My Special Place

My special place is the bedroom corner
I try to get to the cozy place sooner
I think of great places
Like the Great Elivases
On the red stool
Where I happily sit
I dream of Mount Nool
Where crazy people knit

Stitch

My aunt has a dog named Stitch,
Who loves to run through the ditch.
She likes to sleep the day away,
But when she wakes she’s ready to play.
She barks and scares the squirrels away,
And sometimes she listens when she’s told to “Stay!”
Her favorite toy is a squeaky hedgehog,
She even carries it when she goes for a jog.
She has a furry friend named Max,
But sometimes her manners are a little lax.
Some days my aunt brings her to my home,
I sure do wish Stitch was my very own!

Seasons of friends

Summers are hot
winters are cold
i wish it was
winter so it snows.
today we are friends
so lets go and play
and say hip hip
horray!!
flowers are blooming
today is the day
so let's go in play
and say yay yay yay!!!
different color leaves
are falling now
it is fall and shout
and swim about.
